At the end of my second year at Bird college summer show, I auditioned for a piece of choreography from choreographers that came to teach in college. The name of the choreography is "Penguins" because the theme of the show was "Seasons". The choreographer was really nice but the same time he was really strict about his work and that make me work harder because I know someday I will meet him again and I want him to remember me; hopefully working with him again. The rehearsals was every weekend for five weeks and the last week was every day for 6 hours every day. At the rehearsals was a mixture of second years and third years from college. In this process I learnt how to work hard under pressure, at that point I was injured so I had to take care of my self and do my best at the same time. At that I was with third year students at the rehearsals I was feeling confident, I knew that some of them was better than me so that was stopped me from fighting because I didn't feel like I could open up and I couldn't communicate with people, they couldn't help me. Throughout the rehearsals, the choreographer believed in me and he was always giving me corrections and good feedback. In the piece for the show, he placed me in a good position at the center of the stage. At the last few rehearsals he stopped giving feedback and at the final rehearsal he explained me why. He told me that he trusted me in what I do and he wasn't worried about me. That made me feel so strong inside and reminded me why I start dancing and do what I love for my rest of my life.
At the shows I felt bless and lucky for what I do, not most people get to study and do what they love everyday. I learnt a few things from this journey. Stay positive, never change for anyone and keep working what you think its right for you.

Studying for three years in college we had to train in several other dance classes. One of them was ballet. At the beginning I found it hard to understand the technique and give self corrections to try improve. After the first year, I realised how much I have to work to get there; where the teachers want us to be. To keep your self positive you need to be confident in what you do. As a dancer, I am always learning from experiences and an experience for me is not just shows or jobs but classes and rehearsals. For example, in classes you get feedback and you work on them to get better. That's part of learning for dancers; experience. Some days in ballet classes you just do for example a triple turn and you work on them for the rest of the class. Its how you take the time to understand it and work on it constantly to have the ability to do it better; practice makes permanent. Not just "I did it, now I'll stop putting the effort in on it" because one thing brings the other. Also it all about muscle memory. Its not the same with normal muscle memory like, going to work the same time, going for shopping the same day every week. For a dancer, muscle memory means something different. We memorise the movement in our bodies so we don't keep reteaching our muscle memory the same movements; it's not easy
